All the Roebourne kids love swimming in the Ngurin (Harding River) here in Roebourne when the floods come in the heavy rain season. Good memories for kids! Here I painted the river in the cool season , evening time when everything is quiet. I remember Yindjibarndi used to live across the river in the Old Roebourne Reserve and that was a hard time, but the river was always there for everyone, a cool quiet place to be, birds coming in the evening.
