Tote Bag - Yindjibarndi
Juluwarlu Art Group
The Yindjibarndi people were handed the responsibility for their wangka (language) and Ngurra (country) by the Marrga (huge praying mantis beings) a long-long time ago at the end of the Ngurra Nyjunggamu epoch (when the world was soft). Since then, every generation of Yindjibarndi has had to follow and uphold the Yindjibarndi Birdarra law which is exclusive to them.
