For more than 50,000 years, Yindjibarndi people have sustained our Country, law, knowledge, and wellbeing through language, art, and cultural practices. In the beginning, Ngurra Nyunjjamu â the time when the world was soft as clay and the sky was very low (the time that others call the Dreaming) â our creator Sky God, Mingkala, sang the songs from which all life and ngurra (Country) evolved.
