About Mum T:

Yindjibarndi cultural knowledge from the Millstream Tableland. Tootsie was born at Yarraloola Station near Pannawonica and grew up in Onslow, living at the Old Reserve and the Onslow Hostel. After attending high school at the United Aboriginal Mission Hostel in Derby, she returned to Onslow and worked as a domestic cleaner at the Hostel and later at Yarraloola Station and Nanutarra Station with her extended family. Tootsie has lived in Roebourne since 1970 and is a committed contributor to the Roebourne community. Tootsie is a founding member of Juluwarlu Art Group, is a board member and broadcaster at Ngaarda Media, is involved in song, video and performance arts with Big hART, and holds a Graduate Diploma in Aboriginal Community Development from Curtin University. Tootsie began painting 10 years ago as a means of healing after the death of her son, and depicts Yindjibarndi stories, rivers, plants and seasons.

Exhibition Sales Terms & Conditions 

  1. Artwork Availability & Collection 

a) All artworks purchased during the exhibition will remain on display until the exhibition concludes. 

b) Customers will be notified when their artwork is ready for collection or shipment after the exhibition ends. 

c) If collecting in person, customers must do so within 14 days of the exhibition ending. 

  1. Final Sale Policy 

a) All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be accepted once a purchase has been made. 

  1. Exhibition Insurance & Liability 

a) While all reasonable care is taken to protect artworks during the exhibition, the exhibition organizers are not liable for accidental damage, theft, or unforeseen events affecting the artwork before collection. 

b) In the unlikely event that an artwork is damaged or lost while on display, the customer will be offered either: 

  • A full refund, or 

  • If available, an alternative artwork of similar value.

  1. Shipping & Insurance 

a) Shipping arrangements will be made after the exhibition concludes. Additional shipping fees may apply. 

b) Customers may opt to purchase shipping insurance to cover any damage or loss in transit. If insurance is declined, the customer assumes responsibility for any loss or damage that occurs during shipping. 

c) If an insured item is damaged during shipping, customers must notify us within 14 days of receiving the artwork to initiate a claim. Resolution times may vary depending on the shipping provider’s policies.
